Lazy Afternoon
This was my first painting to explore fantasy art. I'm tired of seeing dragons spitting fire and attacking villages. I wanted to see them in their own environment doing what they do when they aren't spitting fire on brave knights. I like the mood and calmness of the scene, the girl with the dragon as they watch the wind blow across the grass.
Chubby Little Birds
I painted this at a request from BYU. Turned out pretty nice, still needs a few changes to make it final. I love how you can make something look real like these birds with just a few smudges of paint in the right place.
Elk in Meadow
This was my first digital painting I ever did....and entirely done in Photoshop and with a mouse. Came out pretty good for photoshop. I think I'll stick with Painter though.
Reading Time
This was a digital painting I did of a friend of mine that passed away. I painted it for her family and kids to have.
Lost Planet
This was concept art for an arcade game project that the company I worked for at the time was trying to get. Looks cold.
Way Down South
Concept art for a BYU project. All digital no 3D in it for the people that have asked.
The Islands
This was concept art for a video game idea I came up with a long time ago. I still like the idea and feel it's still strong after all these years.
David
Pencil and water color. I was just experimenting when I did this piece. One of the few pieces I kept from my college days.
Space Station
This was my first Sci-Fi concept art for some arcade game. I like the space field behind the station the most. I enjoyed doing this piece.
Oasis
Concept art I did for a project at BYU. Needs a few more touch ups but overall it came out pretty nice.
Sierra Nevadas
Photo I took last summer while hiking through the Sierra Nevadas. It's a place my friends and I visit every summer.
